Selva was born from a simple observation: the tropics demand clothing that breathes, moves, and endures — yet premium fashion has always been designed for European seasons. We exist to change that.
Our Philosophy
Every Selva garment begins with the body in motion — a body that sweats, stretches, traverses the city, and rests in the equatorial heat. We engineer from the inside out: fabric weight, seam placement, drape, ventilation. Nothing is decorative. Everything is functional.
Our atelier in Bandung operates on a single principle: make less, make it better. We produce in limited runs, work directly with Japanese and European mills, and finish every piece by hand. No logos. No drops. Just garments built to perform.
Atelier
Bandung, Indonesia
Our workshop operates out of a former textile mill in North Bandung, 768 metres above sea level. The altitude keeps the air cool enough for precise hand-finishing; the city's century-old garment tradition supplies the talent.
Mills
Japan & Belgium
Supima cotton from Okayama, linen from Kortrijk, silk from Gunma. We go to where the fibre is best — then bring it home to finish.
